For any woman, the menstrual cycle seems like a full-stop to relishing life, especially for those suffering from acute pain during these challenging days.

The average age bracket of a female getting exposed to the menstrual cycle is between 11 to 14 years. This cycle continues until the woman has reached the menopause stage or has turned 51 or above. 

As per a report by Women’s Health, 90% of women who menstruate say that they go through multiple symptoms and sufferings including – vomiting, nausea, breast tenderness, chronic muscle cramps, headache, and in worse cases, it results in temperature as well. 

Further, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists reveals that 5% of women suffer PMDD, whereas 10 million bear acute pain due to menorrhagia. Those who don’t know what menorrhagia is, it is a menstrual condition where the woman experiences heavy menstrual bleeding, which sometimes ends up in excessive blood loss. 

How to get rid of excessive menstrual pain?

A high majority of women go for medicines like naproxen, Tylenol, ibuprofen, etc. to wave off the gloomy signs and pain rose due to menstruation. However, it is an effective and instant solution, but at the same time, it may put your body on risk. Therefore, it is advisable to consult a practitioner before consuming any pain-killer medicine. 

Ways to say bye-bye to chronic menstrual pain – 

  1. Exercise – We know women don’t like to leave their couch those days but try to kick back laziness and do some light exercises or practice yoga for a while. If you are bearing pain, go for an evening walk to change your mood. 
  2. CBD – Besides research, some tried and tested examples say that CBD actually helps to relieve menstrual pain. By the time it has started to show promising results, many women are seen buying weed online via authentic sources. You can consume CBD in different forms like – CBD chocolates, CBD gummy bears or simply apply CBD oil on the affected areas to experience a notable impact. 
  3. Coffee – This is the best way to soothe your soul and pain. Grab a mug of hot chocolate or coffee to uplift your mood while waving off severe pain.

The menstrual cycle is a natural process which occurs in every woman’s body in the adolescent age. The most common age group that experiences menstruation ranges in-between 11 to 14 years. Most of the women who experience menstruation every month say they bear the worst kind of muscle cramps in the initial stage (1st or 2nd day of the menstrual cycle). Thus, many consume medicines to get rid of the pain. It may show promising results but may end up in other health issues. Therefore, look for other reliable options like exercise, hot bath, CBD oil or gummy bears to kill pain and relish menstruation.
